| London Greek News was a newly launched newspaper by press monitoring agency Infocis.
The website at www.londongreeknews.co.uk is the online version of the bi monthly publication
As an existing customer of Tonic Designs, we were asked to provide London Greek News with a website that could be easily maintained, and quickly populated using their own XML files .
We developed the site into 'directories' which represent the categories of the site, and to which files are uploaded.
Through an administration interface, London Greek News staff can access a bespoke upload facility, that we developed for them, that allows for the management of XML and picture files.
The software allows for the upload of XML files and associated pictures, to a nominated directory. This is then 'translated' front end, into readable layouts.
The administration software also allows for admin staff to go into each directory, and manage each individual file - rename, move to other directories, edit, and delete.
The site also incorporates Tonic Designs SMS technology, to provide SMS news alerts and SMS football score alerts.
